God Centred
Bellbowrie Community Church exists for God. In every person and program God is first, God is experienced and God is to be pleased. We delight to constantly have God on our minds and in our conversations. 

Biblically Based
Bellbowrie Community Church lives by the Bible. Bible teaching permeates every program because we want to know and understand God’s Word. The Bible guides us in what we believe and do. 

Outreach Oriented
Bellbowrie Community Church looks outward to serve the community in order to demonstrate the love of Jesus. This requires awareness of our culture and connecting to people as they are and where they are.  

Disciple Making.
Bellbowrie Community Church is disciples; people who are learning and changing to be more like Jesus. Disciple making is happening when the people of Bellbowrie Community Church live christianly; especially under stress and difficulties, and especially demonstrating Christian love in relationships with others. We are far more interested in developing disciples than accumulating members. 

About God
There is one true, living God who is the Creator, Sustainer and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are of equal deity and power.
Jesus, the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, was fully man and fully God.  He lived an obedient human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the disobedience of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended into Heaven and is the only mediator between God and the human race. 
The Holy Spirit is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus and lives in every Christian.  He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, guidance in doing what is right and a spiritual gift.

About Human Beings
People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. We are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin”. This attitude separates people from God and causes many problems in life.  A right relationship with God is through faith in the saving work of Jesus.

About the Bible
The Bible is God’s Word, His revelation to us.  It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.  Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth and is wholly trustworthy.

About Salvation
Salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our disobedience by self improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved.
